Community Ambulance Company, Inc. proudly protects 40000 people living in an area of 20 square miles. We operate out of one station that protect a primarily residential area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status.
The Community Ambulance Company of Sayville is an all-volunteer New York State Certified organization that was founded in 1950. Since then, the members of this Company have provided high quality emergency medical care to the residents of five heavily populated towns in Suffolk County. The Community Ambulance Company has always been a leader in the constantly changing world of EMS.

How Many Calls Do We Answer?
In 2007, the company responded to over 3800 requests for emergency assistance. That's an average of over 10 alarms a day. Every day, approximately 10 people in our community call 911 for a medical emergency. We are there to answer the call.
Our Relationship with the Fire Departments:
The Community Ambulance Company works in concert with the local fire departments, but we are a separate and distinct organization.
